Hello and welcome to our Home on the web!
A little history... We are a family who have been raising dogs for the past 35 years. Our journey started with Labradors when my mother and her parents raised them for hunting, and showing later on. I personally bred and exhibited Siberians for nearly 24 years now and my son is now involved with PW Corgis and is mentored by some of the finest dog people we know. Healthy dogs in a healthy environment All our dogs live in our home as our beloved companion and benefit of the life on our hobby farm with kids, dogs, horse, etc. All breeding Corgis are screened and tested for breed related hereditary diseases. We take good pride in raising healthy, well socialized puppies from top of standard parents. Our devotion from our pups to you... With many years of experience under our belt as a family, we have acquired a lot of knowledge in genetic, conformation (structure and functionality) and also in what matters the most when breeding dogs. it is not a breeder's purpose to ameliorate the breed, neither to accumulate the most prizes. It is certainly not to turn the back to your fellow breeder or to try to diminish them. At Butt-On, our goal and purposes are to protect the breed and to educate others (breeders, adoptant or fanciers) in such way that the breed keeps its true nature: the one it was originally ment to, when created. the R-L Family :) |
Adopting a Puppy...We raise high quality dogs with exceptional temperaments and to-the-standard conformation. We breed on a limited basis, always objectively preserving the breed's assets.
Our puppies are stimulated and manipulated at an early age as we offer them the best socialization program possible, All pups leave with a complete departure kit, a copy of the adoption contract, a health guarantee of 5 years (hereditary diseases) and 10 days (viral), a 4 generation pedigree, documentation on education , health and such, vet booklet with vaccination certificate and puppy food. We are always there for our adoptants by offering lifetime support. All dogs will be registered, microchipped. Adoption fee is 2,500$ deposit are 500$ is necessary to be on the puppy list. * in the case of annulation, the refund is subject to a penalty. |
Is the Pembroke welsh Corgi a good match for you?
The PWC is a versatile dog of about 25 pounds. Alert and bright, the Corgi needs stimulation and regular exercice. He is a quick learner that LOVES to please. The PWC does not enjoy loneliness and can be vocal. He is an ideal companion for kids by its size, high tolerance and great sense of humour. He loves to play chase and fetch although he might investigate if something catches it's attention!
When introduced to other species (cat, small animals, horses etc,) cohabitation is easy and possible. The Corgi do shed and shaving it's beautiful coat is not an option, so regular grooming must be part of the routine. The PWC lifespan is 12-15 years. |
